How to give (or remove) shell access to cPanel accounts

In WHM, when you are in the process of setting up and controlling cPanel accounts, you have the option to grant or deny shell access to them.

How to allow shell access when creating a cPanel account

To enable or disable shell access for a new cPanel account, you can choose the “Select Options Manually” option during the account creation process. This will give you the ability to choose whether to allow or disallow “Shell Access.”
