One of the steps you can take to cease spam scripts is to allow SMTP Restrictions in WHM. This explicit feature will stop users from bypassing the mail server to ship mail. When enabled it solely allows supply through MTA, mailman, and root connection to remote SMTP servers.
NOTE: This setting does require that you’ve root entry to WHM in a VPS/Dedicated server.
Using SMTP Restrictions
- Login to WHM because of the “root” consumer.
- In the left-side menu pane, search for after which click on SMTP Restrictions
- Click on Allow in an effort to turn on SMTP Restrictions
